Hall of Fame Honors

International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame (2010) - James became the 9th Australian to be inducted into this prestigious organization in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. This honor recognizes the world's greatest marathon swimmers and is considered one of the highest achievements in open water swimming.

Australian Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame (2020) - Recognition from his home country for his extraordinary contributions to Australian marathon swimming and his role in inspiring future generations of swimmers.

Guinness World Record (2020) - Awarded for being part of the historic Bering Strait Relay Team that completed the first-ever staged relay swim from Russia to Alaska in 2013.
